Emergency First Aid Work

Award in Emergency First Aid at Work provides an introduction to first aid training. The syllabus covers the main workplace first aid situations that a learner may have to deal with including, managing an unresponsive casualty, bleeding and wounds, CPR, choking, shock and other minor injuries.

Aims & Objectives : Emergency First Aid Work 

This qualification is aimed at people who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in range of emergency first aid situations. It is also an ideal introduction in basic first aid knowledge and skills that can provide a pathway to additional first aid qualifications.

 

How long is the training course? 
It has been designed to be completed in 1 Day.

Renewals 

The qualification is valid for three years. After this time, the learner will need to re-qualify to retain their status, however it is recommended that annual refreshers are undertaken.

If you are about to apply for your SIA Licence then this Emergency First aid at work certificate must be valid for at least 12 months
