Mandatory for all front-line SIA licence applicants. This 6-hour training covers essential life-saving skills.
– Roles and responsibilities of a first aider
– Managing an unresponsive casualty
– CPR and use of an AED
– Choking, wounds, bleeding, and shock
– Minor injuries and incident reporting
Certification: Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (valid for 3 years)
Covers all mandatory SIA units over a minimum of 42 hours contact time.

Unit 2: Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor
Unit 3: Application of Conflict Management

All assessments are observed, timed, and recorded
– Unit 1 (WIPSI): 25 questions – 70% pass
– Unit 2 (Door Supervision): 40 questions – 70% pass
– Unit 3 (Conflict Management): 20 questions – 70% pass
– Unit 4 (Physical Intervention): 30 questions – 80% pass
