Required for licence renewals after 1 April 2025.

Includes:

• Search procedures
• Physical intervention
• Awareness of spiking and vulnerable persons
• ACT & You Can ACT counter-terrorism training

Course Time:

• Contact: 11.5 hours
• Self-Study: 6.5 hours
• TQT: 18 hours

Assessment:

• MCQs + Practical refreshers

Requirements:

• Valid EFAW certificate (12+ months)
• ACT Awareness & ACT Security e-learning completed before course

General Entry Requirements for All SIA Courses

✅ 18+ years of age

✅ Right to Work in the UK

✅ Valid Group A & B ID (SIA ID Guidance)

✅ Minimum Level 1 English

✅ Valid Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificate (not required for CCTV)

✅ Completion of ACT Awareness & ACT Security modules courses

• Results: Within 14 working days
• First re-take: FREE
• Further re-takes: £50 admin fee
