  • Minimum Contact Time: 22.5 hours across 3 days (excluding induction and breaks)
  • Duration: 3 Days (09:00 – 17:30 daily)
  • Guided Learning Hours (GLH): 22.5 hours (face-to-face delivery)
  • Self-Study: Up to 10 hours permitted by the SIA

  • Emergency procedures and health & safety
  • Understanding of relevant legislation

Entry Requirements

  • Age: 18+
  • Must present valid SIA-approved identification documents
  • Sufficient English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing, and listening)

Certification & Results

  • Results Released: Within 2 weeks of course completion
  • First Resit (Practical or MCQ): Free of charge
  • Additional Resits: £50 admin fee per session (not per unit)
